Finding Your Daily Interest

Posted February 10th, 2010 by admin

In today’s economy, it is becoming a difficulty just to pay the minimum payments that they owe on their credit cards. People think that they can not get out of this debt and that is true if they keep paying the minimum payment! By paying the minimum payment with all of that interest, you a member of the “lifetime program” that the banks want you to stay in because they are making loads of money off of the interest they are charging you.

To get a perspective on the kind of interest the banks are making off of you, I want you to go and gather your credit card, mortgage, and loan statements. Go ahead and add up the amount of interest you have paid in one month, for all of it. When you have the calculated number, divide it by 30. You now have the daily amount that you are paying in interest everyday.

Unfortunately, the mortgage interest usually will not be changed. If you are curious to see the amount you are paying in your unsecured debt alone, I think the number will surprise you. Realize that you are paying that every single day just in interest…not towards your actual bills.

Luckily, there is a fantastic option to help you. Debt settlement companies will deal directly with your creditors to keep you from paying any further interest so that you won’t have that daily burden of interest that you calculated earlier.
